The Story Behind the Lens
This photograph, captured in May 2011, was one of my favourite images from the three day trip to NYC with Lucas. Grand Central Terminal was a must-visit - and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't already planned this particular composition out in my mind well beforehand - offering an unmatched intersection of historic architecture and relentless human energy. Positioned above the concourse, this frame brought together the monumental stillness of the terminal with the blurred, rushing pace of the thousands moving beneath it.
