The Story Behind the Lens

Captured in March 2011, this photograph was taken during a quick trip to Florida with my dad to visit my grandparents—around the same time he captured Beach I. It remains a nostalgic anchor to those visits, holding onto the soft, pastel hues so distinctive of a Florida sunset. Today, the tradition continues as I make the same journey south with my own family each winter, finding new memories in familiar light.
